Week 1: We Moved To Austria

Hello!

This is our first ever weekly video update. We hope to post a new video update every Sunday sharing our adventures with the world.

A week ago, we began our journey to expat life. We packed up our entire house in Illinois, sold stuff, stored stuff, completed a mountain of paperwork for ourselves and even more for our pets. And, despite all odds, we seamlessly transitioned into long-term residents of Gmunden, Austria

Gmunden is a town in Upper Austria. It has a little over 10,000 residents and it most known for the Traunsee and Traunstein. According to locals, it is a popular summer travel destination.

Our new home is a charming century-old house that has recently been renovated. It sits just steps away from our new favorite walking trail—Toscana Park.

In the coming weeks, months and years, we hope to share more information, stories and travel tips for those who wish to live life abroad. But for now, follow the pack on Instagram.
