Week 4: Austria’s Cloud Lake

My phone stopped working, we lost our power for a day, and I worked A LOT which made every day merge together so I can’t actually remember what we did this week.

Then today was extremely foggy. We couldn’t see more than a few feet in front of us in every direction, so we weren’t optimistic for any cool views, but went for a drive anyway.

We drove 15 minutes away to a nature trail called “Naturerlebnisweg Gmundnerberg Altmünster”— Goodluck trying to pronounce that one. The drive was windy, uphill and for the most part pretty heavy fog.  Make sure to check out this week’s video for a front seat perspective. After driving up 2,625 feet, the fog faded away and the view was the most majestic, cinematic, perfect view to a seemingly gloomy boring day.

Each week we find our favorite place only for it to be replaced by a new favorite the following week.

Here’s to the day-to-day lows and the highest highs on another mountain in Austria.
